Duties
- Operate and monitor machinery, including stamping presses and machining equipment, to ensure optimal performance.
- Fabricate components according to specifications and quality standards.
- Utilize CAD software for design modifications and improvements as needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machines and troubleshoot any issues that arise during operation.
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Package finished products for shipment, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
- Assist in training new operators on equipment operation and safety procedures.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in manufacturing or machining is a plus.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to production tasks.
- Experience operating machinery in a manufacturing facility preferred.
- Familiarity with assembly line processes and production workflows.
- Knowledge of logic controllers is advantageous.
- Forklift certification is a plus but not required; willingness to obtain certification is necessary.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions precisely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.
