Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a strong ability to communicate effectively with customers. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in creating an exceptional shopping experience for our customers while driving sales and promoting our products.

Duties

• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and assisting with product selections.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently for transactions, returns, and exchanges.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly while adhering to cash handling procedures.
• Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product information to effectively sell merchandise.
• Utilize retail math skills to assist customers with pricing inquiries and product availability.
• Exhibit strong phone etiquette when answering customer inquiries via phone or directing calls appropriately.
• Assist in supervising junior staff members when necessary, ensuring adherence to store policies and procedures.
• Keep the sales floor organized, clean, and well-stocked to enhance the shopping experience.

Requirements

• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse customers; bilingual candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
• Familiarity with POS systems and retail math is a plus.
• Excellent phone etiquette and interpersonal skills are essential for effective customer interactions.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A positive attitude, team-oriented mindset, and willingness to learn are crucial for success in this role.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.91 - $14.11 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 38 per week
