Position Summary:
Nextar is a home interior store that supplies flooring, cabinetry, closets, countertops, molding and more to contractors and retailers. This position is responsible for general warehouse duties while providing great customer service. For more info on the company, please visit www.nextarusa.com.
Job Objective:
Nextar is looking for a warehouse team member who will be responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders with an order selector (cherry picker), and keeping the warehouse stocked.
Required Skills:
- Must be able to perform heavy labor job (i.e., lift and move 40-80 pounds frequently)
- Must be able to Pick in a timely and accurate manner using a Pick List.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment following company policy
- Must have excellent face-to-face customer service
- Must be able to work alone and in a team.
- Must have great attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- Must be responsible and on time -- attendance and timeliness is key!
- Must have forklift or order selector (cherry picker) experience
- Must not be afraid of heights
