As a Senior Electromechanical Engineer, you will lead the development of integrated systems that merge precision mechanics with robust electrical design from concept to commercial launch. What You’ll Do
- Own full-lifecycle product development: concept, design, prototyping, testing, iteration, and manufacturing support
- Design and integrate electromechanical systems across both prototype and commercial product lines
- Collaborate with electrical and mechanical teams on component specifications, layouts, and system architecture
- Conduct technical investigations to resolve product/process issues and contribute to the development of new solutions
- Apply principles of electronics, motion control, and systems integration to bring advanced equipment to life
- Create technical documentation including CAD models, BOMs, calibration guides, and test procedures
- Support design for manufacturability and scalability from small-batch to production-level systems
- Communicate progress and recommendations to technical leadership and executive stakeholders
What You Bring:
- B.S. or M.S. in Electromechanical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited preferred)
- 10 years of experience in electromechanical system design and development
- Strong SolidWorks proficiency (CAD/CAE experience required)
- Deep understanding of mechanical/electrical interaction in complex systems
- Experience with sensors, actuators, motion control, and embedded components a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across disciplines
- Detail-oriented with a passion for problem-solving and innovation
- U.S. Citizenship (required due to project requirements)
