The Ad Operations Team sits within our Revenue Operations organization, and is responsible for executing advertising campaigns and helping to build a world-class advertising platform. The Impact You’ll Make
As an Ad Operations Manager, you will partner closely with your teammates as well as our Account Managers (AM), Client Partners (CP), and product team. You will be a critical partner in building and executing campaigns, as well as performance optimizations and analysis during and after the campaign. Day-to-day functions include building and trafficking direct-sold campaigns, assisting on self-service campaigns, partnering with your cross-functional partners, optimizing for client performance goals, and troubleshooting issues/challenges as they surface. Your Responsibilities Will Include
Compensation, benefits, perks, and recognition programs at Nextdoor come together to create one overall rewards package.
The compensation range for this role includes a base salary commission structure with a 80/20 split. Commission will vary depending on your achievement of sales-related goals and objectives. The budgeted OTE inclusive of base commission is in the range of $95,000-$125,000 (base salary of $76,000-$100,000) on an annualized basis.
We also expect to award a meaningful equity grant for this role. With equal quarterly vesting, your first vest date would be within the first 3 months of your start date.
Overall, total compensation will vary depending on your relevant skills, experience, and qualifications.

Your Responsibilities Will Include
- Build, flight, QA, and optimize advertising campaigns
- Monitor and solve campaign-related issues; test/troubleshoot new ad products
- Experiment and learn quickly. Use creative problem-solving skills and internal and external data to optimize campaigns towards client performance goals (such as CTR, CPA, ROAS, ROI)
- Analyze data using statistical software; convert complex data and findings into understandable tables, graphs, and written reports
- Show flexibility and willingness to handle miscellaneous operational tasks and advertiser requests
- Ensure quality control across all campaigns by partnering with Account Management to confirm accuracy of materials, enforcing a structured QA system, and contributing to seamless pre-launch communication between teams
- Proactively look for ways to improve process, take initiative to run tests and experiment
- Participate in in-person Nextdoor events such as trainings, off-sites, volunteer days, and team building exercises
- Build in-person relationships with team members and contribute to Nextdoor’s company culture
- 3 years experience in ad operations, campaign management, optimization strategy, project management, or other operational role
- Experience trafficking/managing campaigns with awareness and performance goals, as well as the ability to use client data to optimize towards performance goals
- High-level verbal and written communication skills
- Exceptional organization and time management skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume, and deadline-driven environment
- Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- An inquisitive mind and analytical mindset
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros)
- Bold in sharing feedback and perspective - good ideas come from everywhere

- Experience running programmatic campaigns
