Role Overview
As an Infrastructure Security Engineer, you will leverage your technical expertise to refine security requirements, coordinate vulnerability remediation efforts, and enhance platform-specific security measures. You will work collaboratively with IT, security, and operations teams to optimize infrastructure systems while maintaining high standards of performance, security, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
Refine and validate information security requests.Coordinate and execute cross-functional vulnerability remediation.Perform platform-specific security engineering and enhancements.Develop and implement methods for monitoring, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing infrastructure systems.Communicate and resolve technical issues effectively to maximize the benefit of IT investments.Technical Expertise :
Strong experience with infrastructure systems such as Windows Server, VMware, Active Directory, Linux Server, and SQL Server.Proficiency in Microsoft 365 administration.Knowledge of antivirus software, patch management, server virtualization, and enterprise-class storage arrays.Advanced PowerShell scripting skills.Expertise in enterprise SAN architecture and resource management.Hands-on experience with switches, routers, and network troubleshooting.In-depth knowledge of network protocols, systems, and standards (e.g., LANs, WANs, SANs).Familiarity with Cisco, Check Point, or Palo Alto firewalls and network security measures.Preferred Qualifications :
Proven experience designing, developing, and implementing software and infrastructure solutions in an enterprise environment.Familiarity with enterprise-class storage and backup systems.Experience with network management tools such as Cisco Prime, NetBrain, or Meraki.Strong understanding of privacy practices and compliance frameworks (e.g., PII, PCI).Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.Ideal Candidate Traits :
