Job Title: Product Owner – IT Solutions

Location: Memphis, TN

About the Role:

We are seeking a Product Owner to drive the vision, strategy, and execution of key technology solutions for a high-impact enterprise team. The ideal candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, and end-users to ensure alignment between business goals and product development. This role requires strong technical acumen, Agile expertise, and a strategic mindset to manage product lifecycles effectively.

• Backlog Management & Prioritization
• Own and refine the product backlog, ensuring clarity and alignment with business priorities.
• Prioritize backlog items based on business impact, technical feasibility, and dependencies.
• Continuously collaborate with stakeholders to adjust priorities as needed.
• Work with the Scrum Master and development team to define sprint goals and scope.
• Ensure backlog items are properly groomed and well-defined before sprint planning.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, removing roadblocks and providing clarity.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business units, customers, and technical teams.
• Translate business needs into actionable development tasks.
• Conduct product demonstrations, collect feedback, and ensure transparency in product decisions.
• Develop business cases for new features or enhancements.
• Maintain product roadmaps, process flows, and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to document system behaviors and integration points.
• Manage end-to-end release cycles, including UAT, deployment, and monitoring.
• Ensure quality assurance by working closely with QA teams and aligning with security requirements.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Agile DevOps processes is a plus.
  
  

Experience: 3-5 years as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role.

Strong Communication: Ability to read the room, translate technical concepts into business-friendly language, and collaborate effectively with teams.

Requirement Gathering & Prioritization: Experience working with stakeholders to define requirements and prioritize development efforts.

Technical Understanding: Familiarity with APIs, cloud technologies, enterprise system integrations, and Agile software development.

Tools & Platforms:

• Jira (Backlog management & sprint tracking) – Required
• Confluence (Documentation & knowledge sharing) – Required
• Tableau (Data visualization & reporting) – Preferred
• Science Logic, Control-M (General familiarity beneficial, but not critical)
