Role
The Systems Engineer will participate in the installation, monitoring, maintenance, support, and optimization of all network hardware, software, and communication links. This individual will also manage and resolve system hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion and provide end-user training where required.

- Strong communication, customer service and organizational skills
- Senior-level knowledge of Nutanix AHV, VM-Ware, or Citrix virtualized environments
- Senior-level knowledge and administration of Windows Server environments
- Senior-level knowledge of Server and Storage Hardware
- Senior-level knowledge and administration of Microsoft Azure
- Working knowledge of Linux Server environment
- Ability to install software and hardware on networking equipment and servers
- Familiarity with a variety of networking and personal computer software
- Ability to communicate information to end-users, and management in a clear and concise manner
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail
- Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Ability and desire to work as a member of a highly collaborative team
- Strong problem resolution and decision-making skills
- Ability to be a good listener with a proven ability to build relationships with all levels of staff
- Ability to work well under pressure with tight deadlines
- Ability to work flexible hours and accommodate any of the IT Support Services shifts
- Ability to provide after-hours 24/7 on-call or on-site support; overtime might be required when necessary

Education and Experience
- Associate’s degree or equivalent work experience within the Information Technology (IT) or related field
- 5 years of systems or network engineering experience, or a combination of education and experience
- Experience with hyper-converged systems (Nutanix) a plus
- Experience with MFA/SSO such as Microsoft Authenticator
- Experience with VOIP solutions such as Mitel
- Experience with enterprise networking environments running multiple VLANs a plus
- Experience with enterprise networking equipment such as switches and firewalls (DMVPN) a plus
- Previous experience in HVAC Industry or other service business preferred
Physical Requirements
- Continuously able to work in office environment
- Continuously able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a copy machine, telephone, and computer printer
- Continuously able to sit at a computer for up to 8 hours
- Able to alternate between sitting and standing, as needed throughout the day
- Occasionally able to lift up to 30
- Continuously requires vision, hearing, twisting, and talking
- Occasionally requires walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, and crouching
- Rarely requires climbing
- Ability to travel on occasion
