- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field – Required
- Certified Scrum Product Owner – Preferred
- Previous experience as a Product Owner – Preferred
- Experience in SDLC – Required
- Financial Services industry experience – Preferred
- People leadership experience – Preferred
- Knowledge of how to negotiate
- Knowledge of how to drive the customer renewal strategy and execution
- Knowledge of business operations
- Competent knowledge of products and services offered by Nextek and industry
- Proficient knowledge of operations and impact to customer experience in a financial technology industry
- Proficient knowledge of big picture thinking
- Proficient knowledge of overall company structure
- Advanced knowledge of testing processes and methodologies
- Advanced knowledge of project management, timelines, deadlines, and follow-through

- Refine and drive product vision and strategy
- Defining product features according to customer needs
- Leading the development process
- Assisting the development team during building phase to ensure the feature meets user expectations
- Conduct market and user research to identify user needs
- Strategizing and presenting ideas to stakeholders
- Acting as the main point of contact between teams and stakeholders
- Keeping customers and stakeholders informed of the status of the product
- Provide direct correspondence and support for customer inquiries, including calls, emails and face-to-face
- Assist team members with elevated inquires
- Create presentations, educate and train clients, stakeholders and/employees
- Managing and prioritizing product backlog items
- Adjusting and improving each iteration of the product before release
- Identifying areas of improvement
- Provide ongoing training and growth for team members
- Initiate and work with team members to promote collaboration and team development
- Be a resource to team members to answer questions regarding client correspondence, processes and procedures, compliance, and all other as necessary
- Partner to troubleshoot issues that team members may have
- Provide training and insight to team members on best practices
- Provide day-to-day management of department including directing employees under your supervision
- Recruit prospective employees to company
- Provide performance evaluations employees under your supervision
- Partner with HR to discipline and discharge employees
- Effectively manage time and attendance system for all assigned employees
