Position Specific Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Data Scientist to join our dynamic actuarial team in a fast-growing P&C insurance company. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with experienced data scientists and actuaries, providing crucial data management, reporting, and analysis support. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in programming, data and information systems, mathematics and statistics, and excellent organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.
The ideal candidate will be expected to :
- Develop, manage, and execute cyclical report templates, ensuring timely and accurate data delivery
- Implement and monitor data quality validation rules, collaborating with the operations team to resolve issues and keeping the actuarial team informed
- Create and regularly update stochastic loss models as new data becomes available
- Collaborate with the actuarial team to develop and enhance datasets and views for improved pricing and reserving efforts
- Design, implement, and document processes that leverage AI tools to boost productivity
- Contribute to the development of interactive data visualizations and dashboards
