About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Claims Specialist to join our team. As a Claims Specialist, you will be responsible for handling property damage claims from inception to resolution.
Your primary objective will be to investigate and evaluate each assigned claim to determine liability and negotiate satisfactory settlements with policyholders or their representatives.
In this role, you will work closely with our legal department, insurance company attorneys, and external stakeholders to resolve complex claims matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate and evaluate assigned claims to determine liability and negotiate settlements
- Provide support and assistance to company attorneys throughout the claims litigation process
- Collaborate with peers and training new Specialists
- Support Service Centers in resolving claims matters
Requirements
To be successful as a Claims Specialist, you will need:
- A valid Driver's License (NON CDL)
- A High School Grad/GED
- At least 1 year of experience in claims handling
Preferred Qualifications
If you have a Bachelor's Degree, it is considered an asset.
