Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Trader I to join our team at NextEra Energy Marketing, LLC.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing trading strategies to optimize client resources and maximize profits for our generation portfolio. This includes monitoring market conditions, analyzing transactions, and coordinating fuel procurement to meet obligations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of energy markets, including PJM, SPP, and MISO market portals, as well as experience working with generators, fuel suppliers, and other industry stakeholders.
This is a full-time exempt position that requires a rotating shift on the trading floor to provide 24-hour coverage for our portfolios.
