What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations - Data Management Analyst position at Nextera Search?
An investment management firm is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as an Operations - Data Management Analyst. This role will follow a hybrid schedule.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the creation and ongoing maintenance of assets across various classes—including, but not limited to, Bank Loans, Bonds, MBS/RMBS, Equities, Forwards, and Options—within the firm’s Security Master system
- Conduct daily analysis of credit agreements to ensure accurate data capture and compliance
- Create and maintain reference data within the firm's centralized Reference Master platform
- Oversee the data exception panel to reconcile discrepancies between vendor data feeds and the internal data warehouse
- Identify, investigate, and resolve data attribute mismatches between external data vendors and internal systems
- Perform other duties, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 3–6 years of experience in the financial services industry, with a preference for asset management backgrounds
- Strong understanding of bank loan products, including both Broadly Syndicated and Private Loans
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
Salary : $110,000 - $125,000
