NextGen Federal Systems is offering an exciting year-round internship designed for students eager to explore the intersection of software engineering and atmospheric sciences. This remote opportunity (approximately 10 hours per week) allows you to work alongside industry experts and contribute to projects that support weather intelligence, defense systems, and climate applications.

What You'll Learn

  • Develop software for weather and climate data processing
  • Work with AI/ML models to analyze atmospheric patterns
  • Assist in cloud computing and geospatial data integration

Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Major in computer science, engineering, meteorology, atmospheric science, AI/ML, or related fields
  • Proficiency in programming languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.)
  • Interest in weather technology, AI, or cloud computing
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills


Internship Details

  • Remote Work Allowed
  • Laptop Provided
  • 10 Hours Per Week
  • Start Date: Mid to Late May
