Construction Manager

Role Overview :

We are seeking a Field Construction Manager to oversee in-building construction projects across neutral host and enterprise sites. This role involves extensive on-site supervision, ensuring that construction activities meet industry standards, quality expectations, and compliance regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IDAS, inbuilding, or DAS construction and be comfortable with frequent travel (50%) to multiple project sites.

Key Responsibilities :

• On-Site Construction Management
• Travel to various neutral host and enterprise sites to oversee construction activities.
• Ensure projects are executed according to design specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and troubleshooting as needed.
• Enforce compliance with federal, local, and customer safety regulations.
• Supervise subcontractors and service providers to maintain quality control.
• Stakeholder Coordination
• Collaborate with telecom carriers and enterprise clients.
• Act as the primary on-site point of contact for vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Attend project meetings and provide status updates on construction progress.
• Work closely with the project management team to resolve issues and streamline operations.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance
• Ensure that only approved materials and equipment are used at project sites.
• Conduct pre-construction site assessments and post-construction quality checks.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by enforcing OSHA and industry guidelines.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement measures in construction processes.
• Project Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain and update site reports, acceptance documents, and progress tracking.
• Reject incorrect material deliveries and document project variations as needed.
• Provide regular construction progress updates to project stakeholders.
