Job Title : Construction Manager – Wireless & Outside Plant Projects
Location : Woburn, Massachusetts & Eastern MA (Boston, New Bedford, Bristol County, 195 / 495 corridor)
Are you an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in wireless and outside plant (OSP) projects ? We're looking for a versatile, hands-on field professional to oversee telecom construction projects, conduct site visits, manage contractors, and ensure project milestones are met efficiently.
Key Responsibilities :
Conduct site walks and field visits , including pre-construction assessments
Oversee general contractor crews , gather updates, and ensure quality standards
Perform pole surveys, data collection, and site inspections (measurements, photos, documentation)
Use tools like IKE device for pole measurements and reporting
Attend landlord meetings and represent project interests
Track and update project status, timelines, and reports
Assist with OSP design considerations , including pole data, fiber installation, and aerial / underground infrastructure
Read and interpret construction drawings
Ideal Candidate :
- 5 years of construction management experience in telecommunications
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
- Wireless & OSP knowledge (fiber, aerial & underground installation, manholes, catch basins)
- Comfortable conducting pole walks and gathering field data
- Proficiency in Excel (SiteTracker experience is a plus!)
- Willingness to travel locally and work in the field as needed
