Job Title : Field Engineer III (Contingent Worker)
Location : Worksite-Based
Shift : Monday – Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM
Driving Required : Yes
Job Overview :
We are seeking a Field Engineer III to support high-level network transformation projects. This role is part of a highly visible team , ensuring network availability and service level attainment . The engineer will provide technical expertise in network optimization, maintenance, and troubleshooting .
Key Responsibilities :
Install, optimize, and troubleshoot base station equipment, RF transmitters, and fiber networks .
Perform network testing and integration to bring new products online.
Conduct fault isolation, triage, and remediation for network events.
Use tools such as OTDR, fiberscopes, and spectrum analyzers for fiber and RF troubleshooting .
Support antenna system diagnostics from transmitter to antenna.
Create, update, and manage problem-tracking tickets for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with internal / external engineering teams for escalations and resolution.
Work closely with tower crews to coordinate installation schedules .
Provide technical assistance and training to customers and teams.
Must-Have Skills :
Strong knowledge of LAN / WAN technologies, switching fundamentals, and network architecture .
3 years of experience in telecommunications equipment installation and troubleshooting , including :
