Job Title: IT Engineer / Tester (Onsite)
Location: Louisville, TX
Schedule: Onsite | 8-Hour Shifts | No travel required
Shift: Standard business hours
Overview:
We are seeking an IT Engineer/Tester to join our team in Louisville, TX. This role involves a mix of testing, troubleshooting, and light development work within a telecom production environment. Candidates with hands-on experience in enterprise or production IT, lab environments, or manufacturing support are strongly encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Testing & Troubleshooting:
- Perform functional and integration testing on telecom systems.
- Set up and verify test environments (Windows/Linux).
- Define and execute test plans, cases, and strategies.
- Document and report test results using internal tools.
- Debug and correct software faults as needed.
- IT Support & System Monitoring:
- Monitor system performance and business process KPIs.
- Respond to incidents to restore normal operations quickly (within SLA).
- Perform data quality checks and run scripts for recurring and one-time tasks.
- Support system optimization and basic scripting for process automation.
- Documentation & Reporting:
- Write technical documentation and test reports.
- Contribute to system capacity planning and volume growth estimation.
Tools & Technologies:
OS: Windows & Linux
Scripting: PowerShell, low-code platforms (e.g., Power BI)
Tools: Test management tools, fault and performance monitoring systems, ticketing systems
Preferred Background:
- Hands-on lab or production IT support experience.
- Telecom or manufacturing environments a strong plus.
- Exposure to major telecom clients (AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon) is beneficial.

- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities
- Technical curiosity and willingness to learn internal tools
- Effective documentation and planning skills
- Ability to follow structured procedures and meet SLA expectations
