🚀 Hiring: Network Engineer III – Basking Ridge, NJ 🚀
We’re looking for a Network Engineer III to join our team in Basking Ridge, NJ! If you have 5-7 years of experience in networking and security, this is a great opportunity to work on high-impact projects.
📍 Location: 51 Imclone Dr, Branchburg, NJ
📌 Contract Role
🔹 Responsibilities:
✅ Configure & administer firewalls, routers, switches, and security platforms for production
✅ Ensure seamless integration with monitoring & management systems
✅ Manage power, space, network addressing, rack & stack, and Layer1 cabling
✅ Review performance metrics to maintain service levels
✅ Perform configuration audits & remediation to minimize disruptions
✅ Develop and manage Methods of Procedures (MOPs) for implementations
✅ Provide high-tier technical support on security & application-related networking issues
✅ Interface with vendors for procedure validation and issue resolution
✅ Lead technical discussions, project tracking, and cross-functional coordination
✅ Deliver solutions for critical, high-visibility projects independently
🔹 Must-Have Skills:
🔹 Routers, Switches, Firewalls, Load Balancers
🔹 Scripting: Python, Perl, Java, Unix
🔹 Protocols: BGP, OSPF, MPLS, VPN, QoS, IPv4/IPv6
🔹 Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and project management
🔹 Required Advanced Vendor Experience:
✅ Juniper JunOS
✅ Cisco IOS
🎓 Education:
📍 Bachelor’s in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or IT
