About the Company :
We are seeking a Permitting Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidates will have prior P2 permitting experience. This role is responsible for tracking and managing all pending permits throughout the review process while maintaining clear and consistent communication regarding their status.
Location : Preferred – Michigan Office
Work Schedule : Onsite 4 days / week (Friday remote)
Responsibilities :
Permit Management :
Prepare and submit permit packages through online systems, fax, or in person if required.
Track and organize permit submissions, approvals, and status updates.
Retrieve completed permit packages and ensure proper documentation.
Jurisdiction Liaison :
Communicate with jurisdictional employees to stay informed of any permitting changes.
Maintain and update jurisdiction-specific requirements for internal teams.
Foster relationships with permitting authorities and work towards optimal permitting conditions.
System & Documentation Support :
Manage permit records within JT, Polaris, or other tracking systems.
Oversee financial aspects and reporting related to permitting.
Monitor aerial inspection and restoration completion tracking.
Additional Responsibilities :
Support scheduling operations and provide backup coverage when needed.
Handle all traffic control-related tasks, follow-ups, and associated responsibilities.
Qualifications : Education details
Required Skills :
Prior experience in construction permitting is strongly preferred.
Familiarity with CATV design and installation processes.
Strong customer service, organizational, and time management skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
