Job Title: RF Design Engineer
Location: Little Rock, AR
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced RF Design Engineer to manage the planning and modification of small cell clusters and macro solutions, with an emphasis on Atoll use and FCC compliance. This role involves extensive collaboration with System Performance, Project Management, Construction, and Real Estate teams to ensure successful implementation and activation of RF sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- RF Design & Modifications: Use capacity or modification lists to create polygons for small cell clusters and search rings for macro solutions. Review and update existing site hardware configurations to meet project objectives.
- System Performance Review: Collaborate with System Performance teams to review designs, update Atoll with changes, and notify Project Managers of new nodes or modifications.
- Site Candidate Review & Selection: Work with Real Estate (RE) to prioritize candidates, participate in implementation meetings, attend site walks, and finalize site details.
- Fuze Project Management: Create Fuze projects with detailed site and node information for Verizon Real Estate.
Must-Have Skills:
- Atoll Proficiency: Expertise in creating, modifying, and managing sites within Atoll, including macro and small cell builds.
- RF Design Experience: Hands-on experience in RF design for macro modifications, initial builds, and small cell clusters.
- BS Degree in RF Engineering or 8 years of equivalent work experience.
- C-Band Design: Solid understanding and experience with C-Band spectrum design.
- Regulatory Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with FCC compliance standards and regulatory submission protocols for RF designs.
- Verizon Tools: Experience with Fuze SPM, Conquest, Fuze Planning/Canvas, and Fuze Reporting.
- EME Software: Knowledge of IXUS RF Safety Software or similar EME reporting tools.
- Mapping Tools: Experience with MapInfo or ArcGIS for mapping and presentations.
- 5G Spectrum: Familiarity with 5G, particularly C-Band spectrum.
