Position Requirements

• iBwave Certification: Practical experience with iBwave is mandatory.
• FCC Emissions & RF Safety: Extensive knowledge of FCC guidelines for emissions and RF safety.
• RF/Regulatory and PM Software: Proficiency with tools such as Atoll, Fuze/Siterra, Roofmaster, and Roofview.
• Office Applications: Advanced skills in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Access.
• RF System Optimization: Expertise in optimization techniques for voice and data systems, particularly with Nortel, Motorola, and/or Nokia infrastructure.
• Engineering Aptitude: Strong understanding of engineering concepts, with a demonstrated desire to learn and grow in the technical field.
• Indoor RF Design: Significant experience in RF Design for indoor systems.
• RAN & DAS Experience: Knowledge and hands-on experience with RAN and DAS OEM systems.
• Prediction & Mapping Tools: Proficient in Atoll, iBwave, MapInfo, and Windcatcher.
• RF Engineering Knowledge: In-depth understanding of RF engineering elements influencing decision-making and recommendations.
• End-to-End System Understanding: Comprehensive knowledge of systems and underlying technologies.
• Tool Expertise: Strong familiarity with design tools, including their capabilities and limitations.
• Attention to Detail: Ability to focus on and manage minute project details.
• Organizational Skills: Capability to follow systematic methods for completing tasks efficiently.
• Stress Management: Ability to perform effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.

Job Duties

• Support the National In-Building team by reviewing iBwave designs and completing required RF documentation for assigned projects.
• Manage filing of 911 and regulatory paperwork for designated projects.
• Collaborate with experienced RF Design engineers to oversee projects nationwide.

Education & Experience

• Degree: Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or equivalent experience in the cellular/telecommunications industry.
• Experience: 5 years of RF Design experience.
