Job Description : Building Design Structural Engineer

Overview :
We are seeking a highly skilled Building Design Structural Engineer to join a dynamic and growing team in West Austin. The successful candidate will be an Engineer in Training (EIT) or a recent Professional Engineer (PE) , with hands-on experience in designing and managing commercial, municipal, and academic building projects. A strong working knowledge of Revit and proven expertise in building design are essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities :
- Designing Structural Systems : Design commercial, municipal, and academic buildings, ensuring safety, functionality, and sustainability using Revit .
- Site Inspections : Conduct site visits to verify that construction is proceeding according to the approved plans and design specifications.
- Project Coordination : Communicate project status regularly with internal teams, clients, and contractors to ensure projects are on schedule and within budget.
- Client Interaction : Collaborate directly with project owners to understand their design needs, provide design options, and deliver excellent customer service.
- Support Senior Engineers : Work closely with senior engineers and assist in the preparation of project documentation, reports, and regulatory compliance.
- Attend Meetings : Participate in project meetings and support the Professional Engineer (PE) as needed, ensuring alignment of project goals and technical accuracy.
