This role involves managing budgets, supplier contracts, evaluating costs, and ensuring financial accuracy for multiple projects. The ideal candidate will have strong business acumen, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to minimize production costs.
Key Responsibilities :
- Accounting Procedures : Refine current accounting procedures and implement new ones to ensure effective project financial management.
- Budget Management : Collaborate with project managers to develop cost-effective budgets for construction projects, including concrete foundations and framing jobs.
- Cost Analysis & Forecasting : Perform accounting duties throughout the project lifecycle, estimate cash flow, and incorporate unforeseen costs into project budgets.
- Invoice Management : Verify and approve purchase orders, evaluate supplier contracts, and ensure accurate invoice statements.
- Financial Record Keeping : Maintain detailed records of project finances for auditing and tax purposes.
- Financial Reporting : Prepare cost analyses, interpret financial data, and report financial risks and budget discrepancies to management.
- Vendor & Supplier Relations : Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, and stay updated on market trends and price changes.
- Inventory Management : Reconcile monthly inventories and assist with month-end closings and financial statements in collaboration with the CPA.
