Job Summary: NextGen is seeking a talented and passionate Sr Electrical Engineer/RF Engineer

to join our growing team in North Mankato, MN. In this role, you will be responsible for the

design, development, and testing of RF and electrical systems for a wide variety of devices

spanning industrial, commercial, medical, and defense markets. You will work closely with a

cross-functional team of engineers to bring innovative and high-performing products to market.

Responsibilities:

 Design, simulate, and optimize RF and electrical systems for various applications.

 Develop and optimize impedance matching circuits for high-performance RF designs.

 Conduct RF testing and measurements, including S-parameters, radiation patterns, gain,

efficiency, and VSWR.

 Generate comprehensive design documentation, including specifications, test reports,

and manufacturing instructions.

 Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in RF and electrical technology.

 Troubleshoot and debug performance issues in prototypes and existing products.

 Contribute to the development of new RF technologies and intellectual property.

 Collaborate with firmware and software engineers to ensure seamless system integration.

 Work effectively in a team environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.

 Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.

Qualifications:

 Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, or RF Engineering.

 Proven experience in RF and electrical design and testing (preferably > 5 years).

 Proficiency in schematic capture software (e.g., Altium).

 Hands-on experience with electrical & RF test equipment (e.g., oscilloscopes, network

analyzers, spectrum analyzers, signal generators).

 Familiarity with electrical & RF design tools and techniques, such as impedance

matching, filtering, MCU interface, Power supply, and amplifier design.

 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

 Strong communication and teamwork skills.
