About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Operations Officer to join our team in Aberdeen Proving Ground, Maryland. As an Operations Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing daily operations, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. You will work closely with other team members to develop and implement strategies to improve operational processes and procedures. Your main goal will be to ensure that our operations run smoothly and meet our organization's objectives.
Minimum Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in operations management or a similar role
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Ability to obtain and maintain DoD Federal Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- Experience in the defense industry
- Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma methodologies
- Experience with project management software
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
- Oversee daily operations and ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Collaborate with other team members to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
- Monitor and analyze operational metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
Skills:
As an Operations Officer, you will utilize your strong leadership, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills on a daily basis. Salary : $70,000 - $100,000
