Requirements
- 3 years staff accountant experience; knowledge of accounting principles (GAAP)
- Very strong MS Excel (pivot tables), GreatPlains preferred
- Bachelor of Arts, Accounting
- Apply incoming cash receipts to client accounts in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring proper allocation against outstanding invoices and maintaining accurate records.
- Perform regular reconciliations of cash accounts to ensure that all payments are correctly processed and discrepancies are identified and resolved promptly.
- Act as a point of contact for clients and internal teams to resolve any payment or account issues. Communicate clearly and professionally to ensure a positive client experience.
- Input payment details into accounting systems and ensure the integrity of financial data.
- Assist in the preparation of weekly and monthly cash application reports, providing insights into payment trends and aged receivables.
