Outside Sales Consultant - Jacksonville, FL
Are you driven by opportunity? Nextran Truck Centers is hiring a dynamic sales consultant responsible for selling new medium-duty Isuzu trucks!
The Sales Consultant is responsible for the growth and retention of existing customers and obtaining new business. The Sales Consultant works daily with all areas of the dealership to ensure excellent customer service.
- Prospecting and marketing to locate and attract new customers while retaining and growing existing business via face-to-face meetings including cold calls.
- Develop product knowledge and sell full product range across all industries.
- Utilize tools and systems to complete all sales processes and ensure consistent customer experience.
- Work with all areas of the dealership, such as:
- Finance & Insurance to actively pursue and educate customers on financing options
- Parts & Service to ensure timely delivery and repairs of trucks
- Sales & Accounting to ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and timely
- Meet or exceed sales goals both number of units and gross profit margin.
Preferred Candidates have the following:
- Prior outside sales experience, preferably in the commercial vehicle industry
- Valid driver's license and safe driving record. CDL required within 180 days
- Computer experience and knowledge of MS Office
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred
- Customer-focused mindset
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Self-motivated, willingness to learn, and ability to follow-up and follow through
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Compensation: Base Commission
