We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented IDeaS G3 RMS Support Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on supporting the IDeaS G3 Revenue Management System (RMS) and ensuring effective implementation and optimization of the system across Hotel properties. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of revenue management systems, technical expertise in related software, and the ability to provide training, documentation, and support for system users.
Key Responsibilities
- IDeaS G3 RMS Expertise: Provide support and expertise on the IDeaS G3 RMS platform, including system configuration, troubleshooting, and optimization.
- System Support and Coordination: Assist in the communication, training, and documentation of Hotel key systems (PRIO, IDeaS, Reserve, RMT, and Opera) to ensure seamless integration and user adoption.
- Implementation of System Enhancements: Coordinate and execute the implementation of enhancements for existing and future systems, including the creation and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, quick reference materials, and training documents.
- Project Coordination: Manage and coordinate implementation checklists to guide hotels through the pre-, mid-, and post-implementation phases of system upgrades or changes.
- Technical Proficiency: Utilize strong technical skills to manage and support all systems related to Hotel Revenue Management, including IDeaS, PRIO, Reserve, Opera, Envision, and RMT.
- Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency: Demonstrate expertise in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) for data management, analysis, and reporting.
- Operational Support: Provide hands-on support for all aspects of system usage, including troubleshooting issues and providing timely resolution to end users.
- Process Development: Develop and deliver effective implementation processes, checklists, and training sessions to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of new system functionalities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with various stakeholders, including hotel management and internal teams, to understand their needs and provide tailored system support.
- Travel Requirement: Travel may be required, up to 10% of the time, to support on-site implementations and training as needed.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a coordinator-level position within hotel industry revenue management or a related discipline.
- At least 2 years of experience working in a dynamic team environment.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with Microsoft Office suite and related data management systems.
- Demonstrated expertise in revenue management systems, particularly IDeaS G3 RMS.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and deliver presentations and training to diverse audiences.
- Ability to manage group dynamics and resolve conflicts.
- Familiarity with core systems (PRIO, IDeaS, Reserve, RMT, Opera) is highly desirable.
- Willingness to operate in a fast-paced, complex corporate environment.
