About the Role
We are seeking a skilled technician to join our team as an injection molding machine operator. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting operations of all injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of mechanical systems and be able to perform hookups for water, hydraulics, and electrical systems. They will also be responsible for documenting process changes and maintaining equipment cleanliness.
The successful candidate will be proficient in operating auxiliary equipment such as grinders, conveyors, and closing machines. They will also be responsible for ensuring the flow of quality parts being produced and arranging work areas as required.
- Set up and troubleshoot injection molding machines and related equipment.
- Perform daily housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Document process changes using maintenance and tool room work orders.
- Communicate process changes to operators/inspectors for inspections per I.S.
