Job Description
This position requires a highly skilled individual to set up, adjust, and troubleshoot operations of all injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude and be able to perform hookups for water, hydraulics, and electrical systems. Additionally, they will be responsible for documenting process changes by writing maintenance and tool room work orders.
The successful candidate will also be proficient in operating auxiliary equipment such as grinders, conveyors, and closing machines. They will be responsible for maintaining equipment cleanliness and ensuring the flow of quality parts being produced. This includes arranging work areas and setting up auxiliary equipment as required.
- Setup and troubleshooting of injection molding machines and related equipment.
- Use of production process change form if adjustments go outside upper or lower control limits.
- Communicate process changes to operators/inspectors for inspections per I.S.
- Provide daily housekeeping to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of work experience and knowledge of plastic processing. They must understand how an injection-molding machine works and have good knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics. Strong maintenance skills are also required.
