NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a leader in roofing and exterior repair solutions in Duluth, GA! Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to join their team. The Accounting Manager will be responsible for integrating all acquisitions and projects while driving financial quality as the company grows!
Responsibilities:
- Lead the accounting integration of acquisitions up until the hand-off to the regional accounting managers
- Understand all company accounting systems and processes for acquisitions and proper GAAP reporting
- Establish a reporting system to provide accurate financial statements by GAAP guidelines
- Identifying any accounting policy needs and implementing these policies
- Manage various projects across the accounting department, including Shared Services and annual auditing
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting required, CPA is preferred
- 5-8 years of accounting experience, M&A, and private equity-backed companies are a plus
- Experience with ERP systems, preferably QuickBooks and Sage Intacct
- ERP implementation experience
- Experience with Shared Services integration (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll) is preferred
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a can-do attitude
