Accounting Manager

NextStep Recruiting has joined hands with a financial services organization that is experiencing exponential growth, as they are seeking to hire an Accounting Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Accountant who is ready to take the next leap of faith into an Accounting Manager role, with direct report experience.

Essential duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Ability to oversee cost and general accounting, financial controls, and operational AP/AR functions
• Effectively complete the month-end close process, perform complex ledger reconciliations, and produce financial statements
• Manage budget and control expenses effectively
• Provide status of financial conditions by collecting, interpreting, and reporting key financial data

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting is preferred, or equivalent work experience
• A minimum of 7 years or more experience in managing an accounting function in a medium or large-sized company
• Current QuickBooks Online Version Software and advanced Excel is mandatory
• Previous Financial Service Industry is strongly desired
