NextStep Recruiting is partnering with a leader in the nuclear industry in Fort Worth, TX! They are seeking an Electronics Test & Repair Engineer III to join their team. This position will support the engineering team with testing and repairing various analog and power electronics systems that are directly related to nuclear safety and be required to develop detailed test procedures and documentation.
Responsibilities :
- Perform functional testing to generate documentation necessary for technicians to perform inspections, troubleshooting, and repair of analog electronics systems
- Complete project documentation including acceptance test procedures, repair reports, and technical memos
- Read schematics and assembly drawings and translate all technical aspects into formal documentation
- Create qualification paperwork of available components for safety applications in nuclear facilities
- Analyze circuitry to be able to determine theory of operation and define operating parameters
- Design and develop test benches
- Perform failure analysis of various components and recommend solutions
