NextStep Recruiting has partnered with a well-regarded alternative investment firm to find a Technical Support Engineer for their Dallas office. In this role, you will provide hands-on support in a fast-paced trading environment, leveraging advanced Microsoft solutions, networking, and automation tools. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with seasoned IT professionals, deliver top-tier customer service, and help maintain a stable, cutting-edge infrastructure.
Required
- Bachelor’s Degree (preferably in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or similar field) from a recognized institution
- 2–4 years of progressive IT support experience, ideally in an enterprise or high-pressure environment
- Solid understanding of Microsoft operating systems, Azure Active Directory, and Office 365
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals, VOIP, and video conferencing technologies
- Strong PowerShell skills for automating and managing systems
- Availability for occasional on-call or weekend support, plus willingness to travel as needed
- Ability to manage hardware deployments, troubleshoot system issues, and maintain security protocols
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on delivering superior customer service
- Physically able to lift and transport equipment up to 50 lbs
