Stauer is currently seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented problem solver to join our Purchasing department as a full-time Purchasing Coordinator at our Burnsville, MN location.
What we do : Create and update vendor records for accurate locations, terms and contacts. Build an accurate inventory of new and existing items in our system that include item numbers, descriptions, bill of materials and other item attributes. Perform purchase order and assembly order entry and maintenance to ensure accurate items, quantities and delivery dates to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize out of stock periods. Follow up on purchase orders status for timeliness and accuracy through receipt and manage non-compliance as needed. Coordinate return to vendor shipments for damaged or defective products. Coordinate the movement of samples and assembly orders. Proof all sales offers for accuracy and communicate errors as needed.
Requirements : We are seeking candidates with a High School Diploma and 2 years of purchasing experience, able to commute to our Burnsville, MN office for hybrid schedule. Excellent organizational and communication skills and an ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast paced environment are key. Must be detail-oriented and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
