Research Assistant (part-time 2-3 days a week)

(12 month contract – probable extension or permanent conversion)
$18.00 an hour W2
Hours: 8:00am - 4:30pm 2 or 3 days a week
Notes: *Interviews will happen via teams.
*This role is part time, 2 or 3-shifts per week only. The manager is flexible on the 2days per week and wants an undergrad with an interest in clinical research who wants to enter data. The manager wants a junior or senior who is currently taking courses. The days can change from semester to semester. Please have candidates be prepared to discuss this during the interview.

JOB SUMMARY:
Provides research and technical support to projects as assigned.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Provides research support services as directed by the Senior Research Team.
• Assists with conducting individual and group interviews transcribing qualitative interviews.
• Assists with transcribing qualitative interviews.
• Assists with writing all research-related reports and ensures they are clear, concise, and completed prior to deadlines.
• Creates data collection and management tools.
• Creates surveys using approved software.
• Develops recruitment strategies to meet enrollment requirements.
• Develops structured system with documentation.
• Prepares the informed consent and all IRB-related materials for review within established submission deadlines.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Associate's Degree in biology, public health, sociology or a healthcare related field
Education - Cumulative credits for Associates required.
• Bachelor's Degree in biology, public health, sociology or a healthcare related field
Experience - Preferred.
• 2 years experience with word processing software and a familiarity with database design and management.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of project designing.
• Skilled in written and verbal communications.
