Job description:
We're currently looking for a STEM Instructor who will be responsible for facilitating hands-on STEM enrichment programs using NWS’s proprietary curricula at our partner schools and community organizations. Our programs are designed to be delivered in-person, remotely, or in a hybrid model for in-school, afterschool, and summer camp programs.
We provide the training.
We do the planning.
We furnish the materials.

We are looking for facilitators who have:
- experience with elementary, middle, and/or high school-aged kids
- STEM teaching experience (particularly in areas like drones, 3D technology/modeling and printing, robotics, etc.)
- Teaching certification is a plus

Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's Degree or currently pursuing a STEM degree. (preferred)
- Experience working with children in a classroom setting.
- Familiarity with and interest in emerging technologies such as drones, robotics, 3D printing, AI, solar power and renewable energy (preferred).
- Spanish-speaking ability is a plus.
Employment Type: 1099 Contract
Hourly instructional wages at $40 per hour
Job Type: Part-time
Schedule:
- Mondays, 8am-3pm
Experience:
- STEM Education teaching: 1 year (Required)
- Teaching youth: 1 year (Required)
License/Certification:
- Driver's License and vehicle (Preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid (in-schools with some opportunity for WFH/Remote hours)
