Position: Architectural Assistant - Intern

What You’ll Do:
Prepare detailed architectural drawings, layouts, and plans for residential construction projects. Maintain communications with clients and municipal building officials.
Review compliance with local building codes, zoning laws, and construction standards.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to develop accurate depictions of carefully considered designs.
Revise drawings based on client feedback and project requirements.
Utilize CAD software to produce high-quality 2D and 3D designs.
Assist with site measurements and field verifications when necessary.
What You Bring:
1 years of experience as an Architectural Draftsman, specializing in residential construction.
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools).
Basic knowledge of American building codes and residential construction practices.
High attention to detail and accuracy in drafting.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines.
Bonus Skills:
Experience with residential construction in on-site settings.
Familiarity with 3D modeling and rendering tools.
Basic Understanding of Structural and Mechanical systems in residential construction.
