As an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our future customers, ensuring they receive the highest level of service and support. You will be responsible for managing inquiries, processing orders, and supporting the sales team to drive business growth. Your role will be crucial in attracting new customers, maintaining satisfaction, and fostering long-term relationships.
- Respond promptly to inquiries from potential customers via phone or email.
- Process orders from new customers, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
- Provide product and service information to future customers, assisting them in making informed decisions.
- Handle complaints and provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
- Maintain accounts and records of interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints from prospective customers.
- Identify and assess future customers’ needs to achieve satisfaction and maintain a positive experience.
- Assist in generating sales leads and setting up appointments for the sales team.
- Collaborate with the sales team to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Conduct follow-up calls to potential customers to ensure their issues are resolved and they are satisfied with our services.
- Keep up-to-date with product knowledge, company policies, and industry trends.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance customer service skills.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Required
- Must be Bilingual (Spanish & English)
- Proven experience in a customer service or sales role, preferably in the waste management or a related industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle challenging situations with ease.
- Proficient in using G Suite (Google Workspace) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Basic math skills for handling transactions, order processing, and billing inquiries.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
