Nexus-FACTS is hiring a Mental Health Therapist for the Youth Day Treatment Program at the Juvenile Service Center (JSC) in Hasting, MN!
The JSC therapy services provided will be for youth within the correctional facility detention center and the day treatment program and will include individual, family and systems work. The services can include going to the client's home and using telehealth, however most often services will be within the JSC and Day Treatment program.
**Pay starting at $60k for a Clinical Trainee and $65k for a MH Professional/Therapist level!
About Nexus:
Our team of licensed therapists at Nexus-FACTS (Family, Adolescent, and Children's Therapy Services) is specially trained in trauma and stress, and we're committed to helping families stay together, heal, grow, and move forward. We have a multidisciplinary team covering Community-Based services, an Outpatient Clinic, Early Childhood programs, Family Response and Stabilization, and Intensive In-home services.
Responsibilities:
Our Clinical Trainee/Therapist will provide therapy services to at-risk youth who are at the JSC and their families. These services can occur at the JSC or in the family's home.
- Conduct individual and family therapy sessions to youth in the juvenile service center
- Develop diagnostic assessments and treatment plans that identify strengths, goals and objectives.
- Provide trauma informed services across multiple systems
- Coordinate care with staff at the JSC and identified providers, manage clinical documentation, and take into account all aspects of the client's needs (psychosocial, financial, spiritual, etc.)
- Implement and administer agency policies, programs and activities

- Hastings, MN
Schedule & Pay:
- Full-time, on-site
- 40 hours per week (32 direct, 8 indirect)
- Monday-Friday

Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of Master's or other graduate degree in one of the behavioral sciences, human services, social work, counseling, psychology, family therapy, or related fields from. LGSW required for social work candidates.
- Must be on track to complete licensure for a specific, related discipline, or currently holds a provisional license for a specific track (e.g. LGSW, LAMFT or LPC)
- Knowledge of family-based philosophy and practice is required
- Valid driver's license required
Nice to Have:
- Experience in related community-based work with adults, families, and/or youth
- Trauma specific training e.g. TF-CBT, EMDR
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!
