What are the responsibilities and job description for the Teaching Assistant position at Nexus Family Healing?
New Dominion the onsite school for Nexus Gerard Family Healing is looking to add a Teaching Assistant that will provide support to education faculty in areas of student learning and provide support within both the educational and residential setting with student resident supervision and safety.
Schedule/Salary/Location:
- Monday - Friday
- Pay range - $18-$19/hour
- Located at 1111 28th St NE, Austin, MN 55912
Responsibilities:
- Provide educational assistance to clients within a classroom setting
- Provide client supervision and mentorship
- Ensure student resident safety and collaborate with co-workers to maintain an environment that is positive, respectful, clean and safe
- Attend staff meetings and training sessions as required by Nexus. Understand and support the Nexus philosophy and treatment modalities
- Uphold Nexus policy and procedures regarding student resident confidentiality
Qualifications:
- Minimum 21 years of age
- High School Diploma or equivalent
