Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Service Technician to join our team. Reporting to the Service Manager, the Service Technician is responsible for responding to service work orders, troubleshooting, and performing maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure operational functionality.
Responsibilities
- Inspect, troubleshoot, and test malfunctioning equipment to determine necessary repairs.
- Disassemble and replace worn or broken parts, fitting and adjusting new components as needed.
- Test repaired equipment to confirm functionality and effective resolution.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area by disposing of debris and garbage after completing tasks.
- Perform routine maintenance, such as filter changes, based on schedules.
- Document work completed, including notes and parts used, in electronic systems.
- Clean containment sumps when debris is introduced.
- Maintain assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment.
- Obtain and maintain required certifications as needed for the role.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Post-high school education in mechanical/electrical
- Troubleshooting and repair, with 2–4 years of relevant experience. A combination of education, training, and proven experience will also be considered.
- Valid Wisconsin Driver’s License and eligibility for inclusion on the company-approved drivers list.
- Ability to meet physical demands, such as lifting 40–50 lbs and kneeling.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $26.00 per hour
