Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Manager (or Service Project Manager) to oversee and coordinate the successful execution of HVAC service projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing project timelines, budgets, materials, and labor while ensuring customer satisfaction. This position requires a strong background in HVAC service management, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Duties
- Manage and coordinate all aspects of assigned service projects, including budgeting, scheduling, material procurement, and labor allocation.
- Ensure clear communication with clients, updating them on project progress and addressing concerns promptly.
- Supervise service technicians, ensuring that work adheres to company standards and industry regulations.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, such as estimates, contracts, change orders, and daily logs.
- Proactively identify potential challenges and implement solutions to maintain timelines and budgets.
- Foster a collaborative and positive work environment for your team
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in the HVAC and/or plumbing service industry.
- Proven ability to successfully manage multiple service projects from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of HVAC and plumbing systems, their functionalities, and common repairs.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
- Valid driver's license.
- VRF/VRV certification is a plus.
