Job Summary:
The Business Development Manager Medical Billing/Care Coordination will be responsible for driving business growth, managing client relationships, and overseeing care coordination and medical billing operations. The ideal candidate will have experience of business development with in medical billing (preferably in leading a billing company), and marketing. They will actively visit primary care practices (PCPs) to promote and sell care coordination, billing, virtual assistant, and marketing services. This individual must have excellent communication skills, a pleasant personality, and the ability to close deals effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development & Client Engagement:
- Identify and approach potential clients (PCPs, specialists, and healthcare organizations) to sell care coordination, billing, and virtual assistant services.
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to promote services and attract new clients.
- Travel to different cities and states as needed to meet clients and expand the business.
- Maintain ongoing communication with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling opportunities.
Billing & Revenue Cycle Management:
- Oversee medical billing operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Help implement and optimize revenue cycle management strategies to improve collections and financial performance.
- Collaborate with internal billing teams and oversee processes to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
Client Services & Marketing:
- Offer virtual assistant and marketing services to clients, helping them grow their practice.
- Work closely with the overseas team to ensure smooth client engagement and business development operations.
- Develop strong relationships with clients and provide excellent customer service.
Qualifications & Skills:
Experience:
- Minimum of 3–5 years in business development in medical billing or health care industry.
- Experience leading a billing company is highly preferred.
- Strong background in sales and client engagement in the healthcare sector.
Education:
- Bachelors or High school diploma or equivalent.
Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to close deals and negotiate contracts effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of care coordination, remote monitoring, and medical billing services.
- Willingness to travel as needed for business expansion.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in building the company
