About the Job

Nexus HR has an immediate opening for a full-time Physical Therapist to join our dedicated and close-knit team. Our practice offers a wide variety of cases, providing services to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly. We treat a diverse range of conditions, including orthopedic and neurological issues, with some potential for a partial pediatric caseload.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Patient Care:

• Evaluate and treat patients of all ages with a variety of conditions including orthopedic and neurological issues.

• Develop personalized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes.

• Provide manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and other modalities as appropriate.

• Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with other physical therapists and support staff to provide high-quality care.

• Communicate effectively with referring physicians and other healthcare professionals.

• Participate in team meetings and case conferences.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.

• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and organizational requirements.

Professional Development:

• Stay current with advances in physical therapy by participating in continuing education opportunities.

• Maintain professional licensure and certifications.

Qualifications:

• Education: Masters or Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited program.

• Licensure: Licensed or eligible for licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of New York. Temporary license holders are welcome.

• Experience: New graduates are encouraged to apply. Experience with a diverse patient population is a plus.

• Skills: Strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
