We are seeking a cybersecurity project manager that can propel our cybersecurity services for federal government clients to expansion and success. You will be in charge of creating and carrying out our cybersecurity strategy, vision, and roadmap. practice, in addition to overseeing the implementation of cybersecurity initiatives and solutions. Additionally, you will create and maintain connections with important stakeholders, train and guide a group of cybersecurity experts, and guarantee adherence to national laws and guidelines. This is the position for you if you are passionate about cybersecurity, have experience managing and completing challenging cybersecurity initiatives, and want to improve our country's security and resilience.

Duties

  • Create and carry out our cybersecurity practice's strategy, vision, and roadmap for the federal government sector.
  • Oversee the timely, high-quality, and customer-satisfied delivery of cybersecurity projects and solutions.
  • Create and oversee a group of cybersecurity experts, offering direction, coaching, and criticism.
  • Build and preserve connections with important parties, such as internal teams, partners, vendors, and federal authorities.
  • Find and seek new business prospects by creating bids, contracts, and proposals.
  • Track and report on our cybersecurity practice's performance and advancement, taking into account technical, operational, and financial criteria.
  • Assure adherence to federal standards and regulations, including FedRAMP, FISMA, CMMC, and NIST.
  • Keep up with the most recent advancements, trends, and cybersecurity best practices while offering our clients and the sector thought leadership and insights.

Qualifications

  • A bachelor's degree in cybersecurity, information systems, computer science, or a similar discipline.
  • Ten years or more of expertise in cybersecurity, with at least five of those years spent directing and spearheading cybersecurity teams and initiatives.
  • At least five years of experience working with clients of the federal government, ideally in the homeland security, intelligence, or defense industries.
  • Strong familiarity with and expertise in implementing federal cybersecurity standards and regulations, including FedRAMP, CMMC, FISMA, and NIST.
  • Strong expertise in providing cybersecurity solutions, including cloud security, identity and access management, incident response, risk assessment, vulnerability management, and data protection.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, and presentation abilities, with the capacity to explain intricate technical ideas to a range of audiences.
  • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, as well as the capacity to manage conflicting priorities.
  • It is preferable to have professional cybersecurity certifications like CISSP, CISM, CISA, or CEH.
  • The capacity to secure and uphold a security clearance, as mandated by the federal regulators
