What are the responsibilities and job description for the QA Auditor position at Nexus IT Group?
Duties and Responsibilities
- Audit plants, suppliers, copackers, and warehouse for compliance to both Corporate Quality Management System policies, and the plant specific SOP programs.
- Schedule and prepare for audits, conduct audits, prepare and issue reports and monitor follow up CAPA.
- Responsible for all aspects of audit preparation and execution for all audits conducted at the plant / copackers / warehouse including GFSI, customer and corporate company audits
- Ensure compliance with all Corporate QA Policies and Procedures and all customer specific program and document requirements
- Ensure compliance to USDA / FDA regulations. Manage audit preparation and lead audits
- Audit Food Safety, Quality & HACCP programs for compliance.
- Coordinate daily / weekly / monthly facility audits on a pre-determined schedule.
- Identify gaps and coordinate corrective action initiatives for findings and non-conformances.
- Responsible for assuring compliance with all Food Safety policies, procedures and regulatory criterion including the current SQF code, Good Manufacturing Practices, and the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) and associated Preventive Controls.
- Responsible for performing / assigning / processing floor centric audits, maintaining records of results and analysis of results for report
- Assist with QA at our plants as needed.
