Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Leasing Agent to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the leasing process for residential properties, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective tenants. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of property management practices, including familiarity with LIHTC and Section 8 programs.
Responsibilities
- Conduct property tours and showcase available units to prospective tenants.
- Manage the leasing process from application to move-in, including contract preparation and execution.
- Maintain accurate records of tenant applications, leases, and other documentation in compliance with legal requirements.
- Utilize Entrata software for data entry and file management related to tenant information and property maintenance requests.
- Collaborate with facilities management to address maintenance issues promptly and effectively.
- Provide exceptional customer service to current residents and potential tenants, addressing inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Stay informed about local rental market trends and property availability to effectively market units.
- Assist in the implementation of leasing strategies to maximize occupancy rates.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Leasing Agent or in a similar role within property management is preferred.
- Familiarity with Entrata software is highly desirable.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in data entry and maintaining accurate files related to leasing activities.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in an office environment.

Pay: $17.24 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 16 – 24 per week
