What are the responsibilities and job description for the Apartment Maintenance Tech II, Tech III position at Nexus Property Management?
Job Summary: Completes the turning of apartments by the use of his/her own labor. Assist the Lead Tech in maintaining the interior and the exterior of the community.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty, satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Must be able to obtain 608 EPA certification within 180 days of employment.
Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Assist with service tickets as assigned. Must take call every other week. These could include but not limited to occupied units, janitorial, grounds, building exterior, equipment repair and preventive maintenance.
- Prepare vacant apartment units for painting, which could include but not limited to drywall repair, wall plate removal, light globe and wallpaper removal. Vinyl floor and carpet removal, when necessary.
- Completion of the maintenance and final portions of the apartment turn process which could include but not limited to electrical, plumbing, appliance and window repair, caulking, paint touch up, and putting wall plates and light globes back on.
- Completion of items listed on the resident’s Move In Inspection sheet within a timely manner.
- Assists in snow removal of roadways, parking stalls and walking surfaces; spreads salt to prevent ice buildup.
Tech IIII - will need to be EPA 608 Certified
